We offer manufacturing consultancy and processing for each material selected as well as sustainability consultancy in order to find the best material option with the most positive eco credentials to offer your customers
BioFlex® is a biopolymer certified biodegradable, compostable or home compostable. The material family is suitable for many processing types from blown film extrusion, profile extrusion, injection moulding, and thermoforming. Application areas being fairly non restrictive from home compostable dog waste bags, home compostable carrier bags, golf tees, tree supports, toys, cutlery and coffee cups, 3D printing filament, cosmetics and so much more. Read more about the material and application areas here.
I’m Green™ Bio PE is a biobased polyethylene polymer that is derived from the renewable raw material sugar cane. Its a perfect solution to the fossil fuel traditional polyethylene, it doesn’t compromise on the quality standard needed, but supports a more sustainable product range. The 100% recyclable material is suited for processing methods such as injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding. It covers application areas like mailers, bags, bottles & cannisters, boxes & jars, food packaging, netting, paper coating and much more. You explore more about the I’m Green™ Bio PE material range here.
Our Eastlon range is made up from 30% renewable materials and 100% recyclable. A transparent polymer, most suited for thermoforming, sheet extrusion in blow moulding can be used for a wide range of application areas such as blister packs, trays and other food packaging as well as bottles and canisters. Bio-polyethylene terephthalate (bio PET) has high tensile strength and comparable high mechanical stability as the typical virgin PET. Read more about the eco-credentials of this material here.
Terralene® is our bio-based polyethylene (PE) and bio-based polypropylene (PP) material. Derived from renewable resources. All Terralene® material grades are 100% recyclable and suitable for processing types such as blown film extrusion, injection moulding and blow moulding. The Terralene® grades include natural fibre reinforced compounds, bio-based PP compounds and bio-recyclate hybrids. Application areas include bottles, caps, mailers, carrier bags, toys, paper coating, food packaging and much more. Read about the full material range here.
I’m Green™ bio based EVA is a sugarcane based ethylene vinyl acetate, an elastomeric polymer that is suited for soft and flexible applications such as footwear, matting, adhesives, sports items, toys and much more thanks to the rubber-like properties it carries. The most suited processing method is injection moulding, however it can be foamed too. The sustainable benefits of biobased EVA is in the growing process, during the growth of the sugarcane itself, the sugarcane absorbs much of the CO2 from the atmosphere, supporting its renewable properties. Read more about the I’m Green™ bio based EVA here.
Biograde® is a glass fibre reinforced bioplastic, the high impact and UV stability makes the material best suited for the engineering industry, with applications such as technical components, plastic housings, sockets and more through injection moulding processing. The high performance, PLA based compound was specifically formulated for replacing traditional engineering plastics. Explore more about our specialist engineering plastic here.
Our Fibrolon® range is our wood filled composite (WFC) polymers that are suited for thermoforming, injection moulding and profile extrusion. From our recyclable Fibrolon® grade to our certified biodegradable grades, the WFC polymers offer a natural finish giving making sustainability more visible and aesthetically pleasing for the end user. Application areas include 3D printing filaments, plant pots, cosmetic accessories and containers, toys, cutlery, plastic housings, urns and much more.
